New Psychology-Philosophy Double Major

The Psychology and Philosophy departments have come together to offer a new double major!

We believe that what students can learn by combining these majors is profoundly powerful, both for future work and for living thoughtful lives.

We have made it possible for students to complete this double major in four years. This is possible with these shortcuts and double dips:

• This double major features many double dips with SEEDS (see the roadmap above).

• The course PHIL 288 (Introduction to Cognitive Science) satisfies a requirement in both majors.

• The Philosophy department is waiving the philosophy seminar (PHIL 424) for double majors.
