The United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals are an ambitious call for action to improve the livelihood of human beings across our planet and to protect it from environmental degradation. While the UN focuses on the state-level to engage countries, rich and poor, change is also driven at the grassroots level. Montclair State researchers collaborating on global poverty, climate change, social injustice and public health, among others, come from a variety of disciplines and fields to tackle regional and transnational issues and provide holistic approaches that fuel sustainable policy strategies for change in this area.
