The Office of Fire Safety is responsible for fire and life safety inspections of campus buildings to ensure local, state, and federal code compliance, and construction and renovation project plan reviews. Preventive activities include fire prevention training for University personnel, evacuation drills, fire detection and protection equipment testing, educational training, and establishing and evaluating guidelines for fire-safe materials.
