The Office of Student Activities (OSA) is dedicated to providing all Montclair State University students with a sense of community through meaningful interaction outside of the classroom. OSA is committed to helping students explore the many opportunities available to them at MSU through social, cultual, leadership and educationally enriched programs and activities. OSA also provides special programs and services for commuter students through CARS (Commuter Association Resources and Services).

The Office of Student Activities is a part of Montclair State University's Division of Student Development and Campus Life. OSA is available to assist all students in gaining the most of their out-of-classroom experience, which is one aspect of their total educational experience. OSA serves as advisors and facilitators for student clubs and organizations and the Student Government Association. They also serve as the "clearinghouse" for programming events on campus and play an active role in assisting student clubs and organizations in program planning.
