The Center for Child Advocacy

The Center for Child Advocacy at Montclair State University (MSU) provides quality education and services for child advocates throughout the State of New Jersey.  The Center’s distinguished faculty includes professionals from the disciplines that define public child welfare including social work, law and psychology. The multidisciplinary lens provides students with a unique educational perspective with which to navigate the intricacies of the public child welfare system and beyond.  The Center offers academic programs (Child Advocacy and Policy), administers several grants, provides yearly assorted trainings, and offers an annual national conference on child advocacy.

Child Advocacy and Policy offers undergraduate and graduate programs including:

    Undergraduate Certificate in Child Advocacy

    Bachelor of Arts in Child Advocacy

    Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Child Advocacy (now also offered ONLINE)

    Master of Arts in Child Advocacy

    Master of Arts in Child Advocacy (to be offered ONLINE in spring 2013)

    Master of Arts in Child Advocacy with a Concentration in Public Child Welfare
