Winter Session 2010

Turn up the heat on your degree!

Winter Session 2010 provides you the opportunity to earn up to four credits in four weeks. Courses run from December 21 - January 15 and are open to Montclair State University students and visiting students.*

Courses will be delivered in either hybrid or online modes. Regardless of delivery, all courses begin December 21st, with the in-person component of hybrid courses beginning on Monday, January 4th and continuing Monday through Friday until January 15th.

Don’t miss this opportunity to complete a requirement towards your degree.

Registration through WESS opens November 9th for Montclair State students and November 16th for visiting students. Registration ends on December 15th for all students.

Grades will be available through WESS beginning January 23rd.

November 9th Registration begins for MSU students
November 18th Registration opens for all MSU and visiting students
December 15th Winter Session registration ends
December 21st All winter session courses begin
January 4th 1st day of in-person component for hybrid classes. Final day to withdraw from Winter Session 2010 course(s) resulting in a 100% refund/adjustment.
January 5th Final day to withdraw from a Winter Session 2010 course(s) resulting in a 50% refund/adjustment (and a grade of WD).
January 6th Final day to withdraw from a Winter Session 2010 course(s) resulting in a 0% refund/adjustment (and a grade of WD).
January 15th Last day of all winter session classes
January 23rd Grades available through WESS

*Visiting students are eligible to enroll in winter session if they are currently enrolled and are in good academic standing at a regionally accredited college or university. Students who are accepted by other regionally accredited colleges or universities to begin their studies in the Spring 2010 semester are eligible to enroll as visiting students and register for winter session courses. Students are eligible to register for available courses during the online registration period beginning November 18. Complete your online visiting student information form in advance so that it has been processed in time for the 18th. The visiting student information form is available by following this link: You must complete the form even if you attended the prior summer.
