Professor Matthews Interviewed for Gothamist and WNYC on Cedar Grove Project

Chris Matthews, Professor of Anthropology, is working as a researcher on a team put together by Goline Doremus Vanderhoof to uncover the burial grounds of enslaved people. The site is located in Cedar Grove and enslaved individuals are believed to have developed that settlement. They hope to identify the remains, preserve the area and establish a memorial.
