Antoinette C. Bigel Endowment Fund

The Antoinette C. Bigel Scholarship Fund was established in September, 1996, to support undergraduate and graduate students in anthropology to participate in supervised field work in anthropology. The funds available annually are determined by the interest earned on the principal in the Antoinette C. Bigel Endowment Fund.

 

***NEW 2017-2018 DEADLINES***

The committee is offering a Fall award. Preference will be given to graduating seniors, but the application is open to anyone. Awards will be for Spring 2018 semester ONLY (i.e., no winter-intersession). The regular Spring award deadlines will be posted early in 2018.

Awards to Support Anthropology Student Field Research

The Anthropology Department is pleased to announce the availability of research funds from the Antoinette C. Bigel Fund. These grants are available for Anthropology majors, Anthropology minors, and Archaeology minors at Montclair State University. Additional qualifications are outlined in the FAQ. We encourage all qualified applicants to submit a proposal for original research that will enhance their experience at Montclair State University.
