Antoinette C. Bigel Endowment Fund

The Antoinette C. Bigel Scholarship Fund was established in September, 1996, to support undergraduate and graduate students in anthropology to participate in supervised field work in anthropology. The funds available annually are determined by the interest earned on the principal in the Antoinette C. Bigel Endowment Fund.

Awards to Support Anthropology Student Field Research

The Anthropology Department is pleased to announce the availability of grants of up to $3500 for field experiences from the Antoinette C. Bigel Fund. These are available for Anthropology majors, Anthropology minors, and Archaeology minors at Montclair State University, and can be applied to help fund field schools, unpaid internships, or an original research project. Additional qualifications are outlined in the FAQ. We encourage all qualified applicants to submit a proposal for original research that will enhance their experience at Montclair State University.
