We the People Week
We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, offer the first introduction to one of the most important documents in American history, the Constitution. On September 17, 1787, delegates gathered in order to form a more perfect union, they signed into law legislation that would transform the newly founded nation for centuries to come. In honor of Constitution Day, this week the Office of Civic and Voter engagement hosts a week-long series of events across campus as part of ‘We the People Week.”
