Our audiology program prepares you to become a hearing and balance specialist—someone who changes lives by helping people connect with the world around them. You’ll study the science of hearing, anatomy and neuroscience, while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and hearing technologies. From children’s screenings to helping older adults manage hearing loss, you’ll learn to assess, diagnose and treat patients across their lifespans. You’ll also build skills in applied research and complete a nine-month, full-time externship at an audiology clinic.
Our Doctorate in Audiology program is the only one of its kind in New Jersey and one of approximately 75 programs nationwide. With a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree, you’ll be prepared for a rewarding career in healthcare, education or industry—wherever people need help hearing clearly and living fully. See the curriculum.
