Faculty Release Time on grants
Full time faculty applying for external grant funds can include in the grant budget for release time teaching load and the according fringe dependent on whether or not the funder funds release time. Released time from courses needs to be compensated by the grant at full salary rates.
Faculty Summer Stipends on grants
For full time faculty applying for external grant funds with research being done in the summer, faculty can include in the grant budget two months (July and August) summer salary and fringe benefits at a rate of 10% of their base salary.
Summer Stipends on Internal Awards
Individuals can apply for summer stipends on the following Internal Awards:
- Career Development
- Separately Budgeted Research
- Summer Grant Proposal Development
