All instructors must submit final grades via the NEST portal on Self Service Banner. In addition to emailing all instructors who have a Montclair State email account, the Office of the Registrar will email memos of instruction and due dates for the recording of final grades to the academic departments for distribution to those instructors who have not established a Montclair State email account. Spring and fall semester final grades are due for submission within three days after the end of the examination period. Summer Sessions final grades are due no later than three days after the last scheduled class meeting.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (Buckley Amendment) prohibits the release of “personally identifiable” information contained in student records without the student’s consent. “Personally identifiable” means that the data include the name and/or address of the student, or a personal identifier such as a student’s social security number or a student number.
