Report tips. If you encounter someone you believe may be a victim of human trafficking, call the National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC). The NHTRC is not a law enforcement agency or immigration authority and is run by a non-governmental agency. The toll-free hotline available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week is 1-888-373-7888 or text HELP or INFO to BeFree (233733). This is the line to call if you need help.
Be an informed consumer. Know who makes the products you buy and the foods you eat to help keep slavery-tainted items out of your home. View the Department of Labor’s List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor.
