Montclair State University is now offering graduate-level, “bootcamp” courses in computer science. The accelerated, fully online courses can be completed during two, eight-week sessions. The coursework is designed for those who want to gain credentials in information technology, those seeking additional coursework for professional growth and career advancement and individuals who want to make a career change into information technology. Individuals with limited or no background in Computer Science and/or Information Technology can bridge the gap through a program of study that will provide knowledge in Computer Science fundamentals.

Bootcamp Courses

CSIT-503 Computer Science Foundations III
CSIT-504 Computer Science Foundations IV

After completing the courses, students may be eligible to pursue an advanced degree in Information Technology which focuses on the management and implementation of information technology to support today’s business, industry or government work environments.  Students will learn how communications, management, legal considerations and other desirable workplace skills are integrated with information technology to facilitate successful application of technology in any organization.
