Montclair State’s innovative new MS in Information Technology (MS IT) and online MS in Information Technology, Applied Information Technology (MS IT-AIT) degree programs prepare students for leadership roles and career success in a rapidly expanding field.

Students will be trained to assume a wide range of professional roles, including application engineer, computer systems engineer, cyber security analyst, database administrator, IT project manager, network engineer, software developer, web developer, and more.

“The new MS in Information Technology degree program gives students both the breadth to fully understand key IT concepts as well as the flexibility to gain deep knowledge in a single area,” says Graduate Program Coordinator for MS IT Katherine G. Herbert-Berger.

She adds, “MS IT-AIT concentration students have the opportunity to pursue a technically strong degree while gaining valuable experience in fields such as data, security and web development.
