Pre-Medical Professions

The Pre-Medical Professions Pre-college Program will lay the most important foundation for your future career aspiration by introducing you to basic medical terms and concepts. During your week on campus, you’ll learn about human anatomy and physiology (the structure and function of the human body) using the most technologically advanced interactive 3D anatomy visualization system on the market – the Anatomage Table. Many of the world’s leading medical schools and institutions use this cutting-edge technology. It takes an innovative approach to anatomy presentation and allows for virtual human cadaver dissections from the most superficial to the deepest layers. As a student you will be able to manipulate and explore all facets and complexity of the human body in an interactive way.

You will be learning from our amazing Montclair faculty who have extensive experience in anatomy and physiology. You will be working in groups to explore the eleven human body organ systems. At the end of the week, you will participate in a gamified academic competition using the Anatomage Table’s 3D visualization technology. In this competition, teams of students will compete in a series of rounds. In addition, you will have the exciting opportunity to visit a local healthcare facility where you will get a behind the scenes view of what goes on and interact with medical experts. Our program is looking forward to meeting and working with you this summer to not only explore the human body but to also enjoy our scenic campus and residential life.
