In a December 2023 article, the Montclairion explores the dynamic journey of Montclair State University’s Native and Indigenous Studies Club, a student-led initiative born out of the newly introduced Native American and Indigenous Studies minor. Founded by senior anthropology major Farrah Fornarotto, the club champions Indigenous voices, delving into issues of food sovereignty, environmental justice, and legislative challenges while creating an inclusive space for all students to learn, engage, and amplify the vital narratives of Indigenous communities.
