Moliere's classic farce, "The Bourgeois Gentleman," is the opening attraction of Montclair State University's Department of Theatre and Dance 1999-2000 season. Audience members will step into the 17th century with Monsieur Jordan who faces music, dance, diction and love lessons on every rung of this irresistible satire on social climbing. This ageless comedy, updated to the 1990s, has lost none of its joie de vivre. C'est magnifique!
"The Bourgeois Gentleman" will be presented in the University's Studio Theatre on Oct. 14- 16 and 21-23 at 8 p.m.; Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. and Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. Call the box office at (973) 655-5112 for ticket information.
