MSU Campus Recreation and the RecBoard present the 1st Annual Red Hawk 5K Walk/Run for Hunger
Race date: November 18
Race day registration is from 7-8am and the race begins at 8:30.
The students of the MSU RecBoard are hosting this annual event to collect food donations for the 14th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive sponsored by the Newman Catholic Center and A.S.S.I.S.T.
Your participation in this event can help feed hundreds this Thanksgiving. Registration for MSU students is only $5 with 3 or more non-perishable food items and registration for Faculty, Staff and the community is only $15 with 3 or more non-perishable food items.
For those of you who may not be in the shape you used to be in you may walk the course instead of running it.
The first 100 registrants will receive a free Race T-Shirt the day of the race. Prizes include Overall Male and Female trophies and awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 5 Age Divisions. Other prizes will be raffled on the day of the race. Help us to help others, sign up today! Food donations will be collected in person at the Campus Rec Office and on Race Day.
