Understanding and Facing the Future - Program Offered to MSU Faculty

In the wake of last week's terrorist attack, many faculty have expressed an interest in sharing their experiences in the classroom and, more specifically, how students are reacting and how faculty are addressing these reactions from a pedagogical standpoint. In an effort to share information and learn from our colleagues how we might better help our students come to terms with these events, an open forum - "September 11, 2001: Understanding Where Our Students Are and Helping Them Face the Future - Classroom Approaches" will take place this Thursday, September 20, from Noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center Ballrooms. The forum will be facilitated by Professor Michael Whelan from History.
