Montclair, NJ (3/7/10) – The Montclair State women’s indoor track and field team closed out its indoor season this weekend as the Red Hawks finished 36th overall at the ECAC Division III Championships held at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Junior Judline Tumson (Newark, NJ / Arts) placed sixth in the 200 meters as she posted a time of 26.30 seconds while also adding an eighth-place showing in the 55 meters at 7.52 seconds.

Freshman Ashadaya Patterson (Trenton, NJ / Northern Burlington) was 15th in the 200 meters while Ashley Powell (Orange, NJ / Marylawn) finished 22nd with a time of 27.31 seconds.

MSU’s 4x200 meter relay team finished 14th as that quartet clocked in at 1:49.27.

Junior Farida Jawando (Colts Neck, NJ / Monmouth Regional) competed at the Columbia Last Chance Meet held at The Armory on Friday. Jawando placed second in her heat of the 800 meters as she registered a time of 2:19.70.
