Nominate a Real Man of MSU!

The Center for Non Violence and Peace Initiatives is looking for the Real Men of 2012!

The Real Men of MSU is a social norms campaign developed by the Center for Non Violence and Peace Initiative (CNVPI), a division of the Department of Equity and Diversity at Montclair State University. The Center for Non Violence recognizes the value of education and the importance of positive role modeling.

This campaign supports and honors men from the Montclair State University community who take a stand against violence towards women. The nominees should all have extraordinarily compassionate and encouraging qualities integrated into their character that naturally complement the mission of this project.

We ask that the campus community nominate male students, faculty, and staff for this project. The nominated Real Men should have qualities that demonstrate they are:

  • Working to prevent violence towards women
  • Leading through example in promoting women's rights
  • Advocating positive change for women, not only in their own lives, but for the betterment of their communities
