On May 13th, World Languages teachers from schools and universities all over northern New Jersey will gather in the Student Center at MSU for a one-day conference focused on the integration of culture into the teaching of world languages. Partially funded by a grant from the NJNER (New Jersey Network for Educational Renewal) the conference is the outgrowth of two years of collaborative study by a team of MSU faculty, headed by Dr. Nancy Tumposky, College of Education and Human Services, Department of Curriculum and Teaching, and World Languages teachers from two NJNER member districts, West Orange and Fair Lawn.
The conference is free to MSU students and faculty, who must preregister by May 2nd. For all other others, the registration fee of $20 must be received by May 2nd.
