It's Championship Season for the Red Hawks!!!

For men's soccer and field hockey, it's the start of the NCAA Tournament while for the MSU Football team, a showdown with the New Jersey Athletic Conference title and NCAA Playoff berth on the line. 

Field Hockey
The Red Hawks have moved on in the NCAA Division III Tournament with a thrilling 3-2, double-overtime victory over Rhodes College in the first round on Wednesday afternoon. Brittany Carroll scored the game-winner as MSU advances to meet Salisbury University on Saturday, November 12 in Maryland at 10:00 am. Should Montclair triumph they would play for a berth in the Final Four on Sunday.

Men's Soccer
Men's Soccer is back in its familiar spot as the Red Hawks are making their sixth consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament appearance. Montclair will host the first and second rounds of the tournament on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13. MSU will take on Framingham State in one matchup on Saturday with Dickinson facing Vassar in the other contest. The two winners will square off on Sunday for a berth in the Sectional Tournament at Messiah College in Grantham, PA on November 19-20.

Football
Finally, football games do not get any better than this Saturday when Montclair State face Kean University at Sprague Field in a 1:00 pm kickoff to decide the NJAC Championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Both team come into the game with 8-1 records, 7-1 in the conference and are ranked 14th and 15th in the nation.
