Be a Successful NIH Grant Recipient Workshop - Presentation Now Available

The College of Education & Human Services and the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs cosponsored a workshop for faculty and staff interested in submitting proposals to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Dr. Valerie Maholmes, of the NIH, spoke in great detail about the process of submitting a successful grant application.

Dr. Maholmes is the Director of Social & Affective Development/Child Maltreatment & Violence Program, Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development at the National Institutes of Health. A Montclair State alumna, she holds a PhD in educational psychology from Howard University and a six-year degree with advanced study in school psychology, with a concentration in neuropsychological and psychosocial assessments, from Fairfield University.
