The Center for Non-Violence and Prevention Programs (CNVPP), a division of University Police, is proud to announce Montclair State University’s first Real Men of MSU campaign. The campaign is designed to represent positive male role models who respect and support women, and are willing to take a stand opposing violence against women. We’re looking for nominations of men within the MSU community whom you believe have made a positive difference in the lives of women and women’s rights, and have helped to bring an end to violence against women through education, organized events, by speaking up for women or simply by being a positive person in women’s lives. A committee of members from The Women’s Center, Wellness Education, University Police, Student Leadership Programs, Greek Life, Athletics, Residence Life and the Psychology Department will select 12 men for the Real Men of MSU 2006 campaign from the nominations.
Take part in selecting the Real Men of MSU. Click here to complete an online form to nominate your “real man.” CNVPP will accept nominations until April 7, 2006.
The campaign will kick off in September 2006 and consist of an extensive on-campus poster/media campaign, a dedicated Web site and calendar featuring 12 Real Men of MSU.
