Teaching Italian Symposium XV: Italian + STEM

The 15th annual Teaching Italian Symposium/Workshops XV: Italian + STEM resumed to an in-person format for the first time since 2019 on Friday, October 21st from 10:30am-5:00pm in University Hall’s 7th Floor Conference Center at Montclair State University.

This professional development program organized by the Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America and Prof.ssa Enza Antenos, Dept. of World Languages & Cultures, featured lively and timely workshops led by Luca Cottini of Villanova University, Tania Convertini & Giorgio Alberti of Dartmouth College, Nathan Lutz of Kent Place School located in Summit, NJ, and Karen Murano of Cloonan Middle School located in Fairfield, CT

The 2022 Coccia-Inserra Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Teaching of Italian (K-12) was presented on this occasion to Jose Gabriel Fernandez.
