The Spring 2026 semester marked a semester of new partnerships and the continuation of proclaimed annual events.
The Coccia Institute was thrilled to once again participate in the NJ Devils’ Italian Heritage Night, celebrating the Italian American culture at Prudential Center on February 27th.
Then, the Coccia Institute was thrilled to collaborate with the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) in presenting “Amore in Southern Italy,” an event showcasing two short movies, produced by Marylou and Jerome Bongiorno. Following the screening of “Amore nel Sannio” and “Palermo: Amore e Fontane,” a Q&A session moderated by Cristina Latino, MBA (Coccia Institute Program Coordinator) featured an engaging conversation with the two filmmakers and actress Grace Manzo. This event took place on Monday, February 9th in the College of Communication & Media’s Presentation Hall.
