The project, Understanding the Information Disseminated Using Twitter During the COVID-19 Pandemic, earned the Best Paper Award at a recent IEEE conference.

Understanding the Information Disseminated Using Twitter During the COVID-19 Pandemic Poster

The research team consisting of Jorge Torres, Computer Science BS and MS major ’18 and ’21, Vaibhav Anu, Assistant Professor, and Aparna Varde, Associate Professor presented at the IEEE International IoT, Electronics and Mechatronics Conference in April 2021. Their work was presented and awarded Best Paper in the Information Technology (Short Paper) Track.

The paper will be included in IEEE Proceedings when they are posted!
