We have six Virtual Transfer Orientation sessions available throughout the summer. You can choose the date based on what works best for you.

Do I Have To Attend Orientation?

Yes. Orientation is designed to aid in your transition to Montclair State as well as review unique policies and other essential information.

How Long Will the Virtual Orientation Be?

Virtual Transfer Orientation will run for two and a half hours through Zoom.

What Will Virtual Orientation Be Like?

Virtual Orientation will be held on Zoom. Each orientation session will include a mixture of pre-recorded and live presentations by staff and faculty. • Connect with other students.
  • Meet with your academic college.
  • Learn more about campus and resources available to you.
What If I Require Special Accommodations?

If you have a condition that might affect your participation in the Virtual Orientation, the Center for Leadership and Engagement will coordinate any arrangements you may need while online.

  • Physical disabilities
  • Interpreters

You can submit this request when you register for Orientation

Do I Register for Classes at Orientation?

No. You can register for classes before your Virtual Orientation. We recommend you speak with an Academic Advisor before registering for classes. You can do so by contacting your major department.

Where Can I Find the Schedule of Activities?

The full Orientation Schedule will be posted on the Transfer Orientation website in June. The schedule will also be provided by the Orientation Team a few days before your session.
