All students are required to complete a two-day Orientation leading up to Red Hawk Day.
Registration will determine which dates you are required to complete.
- Residents: Move-in to your assigned residence hall prior to your Orientation dates!
- Commuters: Check-in, pick up your University ID and join us for your Orientation!
Fall Orientation consists of a two-day program:
- Day One: University Life
- Day Two: College Connection
Orientation dates are available between August 24 – August 31, 2022. Orientation dates are based on availability.
Fall Orientation is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

During your Orientation Experience, you will:
- Connect with Orientation Leaders and students within your major.
- Meet representatives from different campus departments.
- Learn more about campus and resources available to you.
The Orientation Schedule will be shared with you via our mobile schedule in the Guidebook App.
Our mobile app schedule will launch August 2022.
If you need accommodations to support you in your Orientation experience, the Center for Leadership and Engagement will coordinate those arrangements for you.

You can register for classes any time after submitting your New Student Deposit. We recommend you meeting with an Academic Advisor before registering for classes. See step #4 on the Transfer Student Checklist for more information on how to schedule an appointment with an Advisor.
