Uncover the magic hidden in the written word! From love songs to rap lyrics, poetry surrounds us every day, and stories shape the meaning of our lives. Abracadabra: The Magic of Creative Writing invites students to explore that magic through fun, hands-on activities designed to reveal their inner poet and storyteller.
We will experiment with collage poems, play imaginative poetry games, and craft short stories inspired by both our own experiences and the fictional characters we invent. Through interactive discussions, creative writing prompts, peer feedback sessions, and other collaborative activities, students will build a collection of original work they can feel proud of—pieces that capture their unique voice and showcase the sorcery of language.
