Montclair State Center for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

This state-of-the-art clinic, located at 1515 Broad Street, Building B, Bloomfield, NJ, is in the heart of the surrounding communities, located a short distance from the main campus with ample parking.  We offer assessment for children and adults who demonstrate communication difficulties or who may have hearing and/or balance concerns.  We offer services in:

  1. The General Public
  2. University students
  3. Families of University members
  4. Faculty and Staff

In order to provide “real world” professional experiences for our graduate students, the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders maintains contractual relationships with Community Clinics; Hospitals; Agencies; and Educational Programs.

 

Mission

 The mission of the Montclair State University Center for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is to provide outstanding clinical training for our audiology and speech-language pathology students and to serve the needs of individuals at Montclair State University and the surrounding communities.

 

Referrals

Referrals are accepted from:

  1. Physicians
  2. School personnel
  3. Other professionals
  4. Clients may also be self-referred (no referral needed)
 

Fees

Our services are offered at a reduced fee, however, fees are charged for all services and products dispensed.  A sliding scale is available for individuals who meet financial eligibility requirements (financial assistance is available).  Credit Cards are accepted.   Medicare is accepted for audiology services (must provide a physician’s prescription).


Evaluation and treatment will be provided without discrimination based on age, religion, national origin, gender, sexual preferences, handicap, diagnosis, ability to pay or source of payment.
