New! Undergraduate Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Minor

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is now offering an undergraduate minor in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology beginning Fall 2014.

The new Minor consists of 18 credits and the courses are (see link above for details):

CSND100- Introduction to Field of Communication Sciences and Disorders

CSND207- Hearing Science

CSND383- Language Development

CSND408- Phonetics

CSND409- Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing Systems

CSND410- Neurophysiological Bases of Communication OR

CSND468 Clinical Procedures in Audiology


NOTE:  The Minor does not guarantee entrance into our graduate program or any other graduate program, but will provide the background necessary for entrance into graduate programs or may complement other related areas of study. 

There will be a structure in place to formally "declare" this minor starting the Fall semester.  The first class,  CSND100, is available for registration in Fall 2014.
