Reelabilities: the NY Disabilities Film Festival , began 5 years ago in a dozen NY venues and was designed to feature award winning new films that promote awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. The Festival, generating competitive submissions, discussion and cross discipline collaboration, has expanded nationally for a week each year.
