The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking volunteers for the Alumni Recruitment Team, which consists of alumni of all ages who assist in the goal of recruiting the best and most talented students to Montclair State University. Believe it or not, your experience as a student and graduate of Montclair State can inspire a potential student to join the next generation of Red Hawks!
As a member of our Alumni Recruitment Team, you can participate first-hand in a variety of our outreach programs, including:
- Representing the University at a college fair in your local area.
- Writing a personalized letter to an accepted student.
- Volunteering your time on campus at an Open House event.
- Serving as an alumni interviewer for prospective students.
- Sharing your story of how Montclair State helped prepare you for your career.
Alumni Recruitment Team Members also have the opportunity to network with other alumni through sponsored social and professional development events that take place throughout the year.

Alumni Recruitment Team Training Day
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Montclair State is looking for volunteers to become part of our Alumni Recruitment Team! We are calling all of our current alumni volunteers as well as new and interested alumni to join us on Saturday, August 3, 2013, for a networking and training event on campus. We want to use this time to acknowledge our current team members, meet new participants, explore updates on campus, discuss upcoming recruitment events, network with other alumni and university faculty, and share with you all there is to know about the Alumni Recruitment Team! Refreshments and lunch will be served.
As a member of the team you will have the chance to interact with prospective students at various events including college fairs, open houses, and more. Essentially, you assist in recruiting the next generation of Montclair State students. Your help is vital in the success of our recruitment cycle, and the experience you bring as a former student of the university will attract the next generation of learners. Please join us for a fun-filled day on August 3, 2013! We value your commitment to the university!
