Montclair State Well-Represented on NJBIZ “Power 100” List

When NJBIZ came out recently with the 2014 edition of “Power 100,” its annual list of the 100 most powerful people in New Jersey business, Montclair State University President Susan A. Cole was not the only member of the University community to be included. Five other University executives and alumni are also among the state’s movers and shakers in business.

Boards of Trustees Members:

Angelo J. Genova, Esq. ’75
A member of the Montclair State University Foundation board of trustees, alumnus Angelo J. Genova is a founding partner of Genova, Burns, Giantomasi and Webster, Attorneys-at-law, which NJBIZ called, “the quickly growing Newark-based firm that bills itself as being at the intersection of law, government and business.”

Mitchell E. Hersh
Montclair State University board of trustees member Mitchell E. Hersh is president and chief executive officer of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. NJBIZ notes that he is a longtime giant in the suburban office real estate market who is “making the successful transition to multifamily.”

William T. Mullen
A member of the Montclair State University board of trustees, William T. Mullen is president of the New Jersey State Building and Construction Trades Council. NJBIZ notes that as such, “he works closely with 13 local building trades councils, more than 100 local unions and more than 150,000 individual members.”

Alumnae:

Annette Catino ’78
Alumna Annette Catino is the chief executive officer of QualCare, the managed healthcare subsidiary of QualCare Alliance Networks, Inc. According to NJBIZ, “She continues to grow the company and help shape health care in the state.”

Regina M. Egea ’79
“Mark her as one to watch,” says NJBIZ about alumna Regina M. Egea, the chief of staff to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
