Thank you for coming home to Montclair State on Saturday, October 12! We hope you enjoyed a great day with fellow alumni. Whether or not you were able to make it back to campus, read a full recap of the day's festivities and view the photo gallery.
The day began with a sold-out family pancake breakfast, where President Susan A. Cole gave an exclusive update to first-year students and their families, and where the university pep band and Rocky got families ready for the big game!
The day continued with departmental alumni reunions for the School of Business Marketing Department, College of the Arts' School of Communication and Media, College of Education and Human Services Counseling and Student Affairs, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Philosophy and Religion.
Various programs around campus also hosted open houses for students, alumni, and families to visit including the Sprague Library Archives, the Educational Opportunity Fund, The LGBTQ Center, and the WMSC Radio Station.
Campus tours were available for families and alumni, and there were various sporting events throughout the day. Always a popular event, the Student Showcase did not disappoint, and the alumni tailgate and campus carnival were a huge hit, bringing back thousands of alumni and families to get ready for the big game.
While the Red Hawks fell short of SUNY Cortland, Red Hawk pride was still in the air! Halftime festivities included introductions of Montclair State Athletic Hall of Famers and entertainment by the cheerleading squads, bands, and Montclair's Drums of Thunder.
