(6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21) The campus mail server experienced two periods of high CPU load this afternoon, causing brief interruption of IMAP client connectivity. IMAP clients include Thunderbird, Outlook, Mac Mail, etc.
We will proceed with the additional re-indexing of individual mailboxes between 9 a.m. Thursday morning through Sunday evening (if required).
Based on the strong recommendation of our technical support vendor, it will unfortunately be necessary torestrict mail access to just the Webmail interface for the duration of the re-indexing process.
