U.S. News & World Report: 2017 edition of America’s Best Colleges ranked Montclair State 176th among the nation’s top 200 universities. One of only seven New Jersey institutions in this top tier category, our ranking reflects the higher than expected graduation rates of our diverse student body – and confirms our growing national reputation.
The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education placed Montclair State among the top 100 public universities in the nation. We also made the grade by ranking in the top 100 public institutions for student outcomes and engagement, while our diverse learning environment placed us 75th among both private and public institutions.
