The Gothic Knights would then take the next two points on a kill by Johanesen and a service ace by Kiara Martinez ( Newark, NJ / East Side) for a 16-14 lead. Montclair got it back to a point, but Torres recorded a kill and Theresa Carvahlo ( Rahway, NJ / Rahway) served three straight points, including an ace to extend the NJCU lead to 20-15. Jennifer Hatch ( Paterson, NJ / Mary Help of Christians Academy) finished off the set with kill for a 2-games-to-none lead for the Gothic Knights.
