As part of the ongoing Provost's Series on Teaching and Learning, Dr. Brian Coppola, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Chemistry, Associate Chair for Curriculum and Faculty Affairs, University of Michigan, reviews some of the instructional development work that has been implemented in the teaching program at the University of Michigan. This talk addresses how departments can focus on both teaching and research in developing future educators.
