Students from the MSU Department of Broadcasting participated in a special project over the past several weeks with news producers from the New Jersey Network (NJN) creating a report on the effects of the World Trade Center disaster on the lives of New Jersey residents. MSU students worked as crew, as well as co-producers and interviewers for a number of the features making up the program. This collaboration is an extension of the class "Electronic Journalism" taught by MSU alumnus Jeff Friedman, who is a senior producer for NJN.
The program, "America Together" will be aired on NJN Wednesday, October 3, at 6:30pm and repeated on Sunday, October 7th, at 10:30am. NJN is carried on all cable systems.
