– The Montclair State women's lacrosse team was selected third in the
newly-formed New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Poll. With five
institutions now sponsoring the sport of women’s lacrosse on the
varsity level, the NJAC Board of Athletic Administrators has
established a conference championship in the sport for the first time
in the 2009 season.
