Lee earns NJAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week honors after helping the Red Hawks close out their dual meet season with a 179-119 NJAC victory over rival William Paterson. Individually, he collected a trio of wins including first place finishes in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.68), the 200 breaststroke (2:21.24), and the 200 individual medley (2:06.37). Lee also swam the second leg of MSU’s first place 200 medley relay which produced a winning time of 1:41.79.
Smith earns NJAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season. Individually,
he collected a pair of wins including victories in the 1,000 freestyle
(10;37.20) and the 500 freestyle (5:00.97). Smith also was a member of
Montclair’s first place 400 freestyle relay which produced a winning
time of 3:22.47.
Vallone earns NJAC Women’s Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week honors for the fifth time this season after helping the Red Hawks earn a 161-119 NJAC victory over rival William Paterson. Individually, she posted three victories with first place showings in the 50 freestyle (26.32), the 100 freestyle (57.01), and the 200 freestyle (2:06.74). Vallone also swam the anchor leg of Montclair State’s first place 200 medley relay which produced a winning time of 1:59.11.
