Liscio Chosen NJAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week

Montclair, NJ (10/17/10) – Junior punter Joe Liscio (Little Falls, NJ / Passaic Valley) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Sunday. Liscio's selection was Montclair's sixth this season and the Red Hawks have now won at least once in each of the league's five weekly categories.

Liscio earns NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after helping the Red Hawks remain in first place in the NJAC with a 35-20 NJAC win over Buffalo State. In a game which featured 25 mile per hour winds, he averaged 39.2 yards per attempt on four punts, including three which were downed inside the Bengals’ 20-yardline. He dramatically tipped field position by downing three-of-his-four punts inside of Buffalo State’s 5-yardline.

Liscio currently leads the NJAC in punting average (37.9).
