Men's Soccer Edges NYU-Poly 1-0 on Zalewski Goal

Brooklyn, NY (10/24/11) – Senior forward Kevin Zalewski (Parsippany, NJ / Parsippany) scored the lone goal of the game at the 79:00 mark as Montclair State won for the fourth time in its last five games as the Red Hawks edged NYU-Polytechnic, 1-0 on Monday evening.

Senior goalkeeper Anthony Rogic (Boonton, NJ / Morris Catholic) stopped two shots  and posted his seventh shutout of the season as MSU improved to 13-2-3 on the season.

The Red Hawks return to action with their final regular-season game on Wednesday, October 26 as they travel to Mahwah, NJ to take on Ramapo College at 3:00 pm. Montclair has already clinched the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye for the upcoming NJAC Tournament.
