Montclair State University, in cooperation with the HealthCare Institute of NJ, is sponsoring "PharmFest 2006." It is a day-long program that explores the NJ pharmaceutical industry and related fields as well as the career paths available in these areas. It is a free program opened to MSU students, alumni, and the general public. It will be held Wednesday, March 22, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., University Hall-7th Floor Conference Center.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Fred Jacobs, the Commissioner of the NJ Dept. of Health & Senior Services. There will be panel discussions with various company representatives. To date, the following companies will be participating: Adams Respiratory, Chugai, HealthCare Institute of NJ, Organon, Wyeth, Amide Pharmaceuticals, Cu-Tech, Eisai, Lundbeck, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, & Syncom Pharmaceuticals.
