MISSION
The
mission and purpose of the Montclair State University Police
Department is to protect life and property, provide rapid response
to calls of service and support the educational mission of the
university. This is encompassed in our department’s motto:

Supporting the educational mission of the
university by maintaining a safe and orderly environment conducive
to positive learning experiences.
SERVICE:
Answering all calls for service in a
professional and efficient manner.
PROTECTION:
Providing effective police services to deter
crime and apprehend violators of law.
