CHIEF'S WELCOME
On
behalf of the members of the Montclair State University Police
Department, I would like to welcome you to our home on the Internet.
I encourage you to look through our website and learn about our
mission, our officers, and of the many services that we provide to
the Montclair State University community. Here you will find
important information about campus safety, crime prevention,
statistics, criminal alerts and programs offered by our department.
The
growing population at Montclair State University, includes over
18,000 students, faculty, staff and daily visitors. The
responsibility for the overall safety and law enforcement services
for the University rests with the MSU Police Department. The
men and women of the MSU PD
continually strive to provide an environment where all members of
the community can safely learn, work, live and visit.
Our
efforts are greatly enhanced when members of the MSU community take
an active role in personal safety and crime prevention. The
cooperation of all students, faculty and staff is crucial to
maintaining a safe and orderly environment. I encourage to you
report any safety concerns, illegal or suspicious activity or any
comments and suggests you have to our department. I hope that
