The Finance Society and the recently established FMA Student Chapter at Montclair State University have participated in a number of key events this spring semester.  The trips were led by Feliciano School of Business Associate Professor, Duygu Zirek, from the department of Accounting and Finance.

On February 28th, the FMA Student Chapter toured Dow Jones and met with the Editor in Chief of MarketWatch, Mark DeCambre. Following the visit, participating students received an email about internship opportunities at Dow Jones for this summer.

The FMA Student Chapter also participated in the Finance Leaders’ Conference held at Baruch College on February 29th and March 1st. The Finance Leaders’ Conference is the only international conference for undergraduate and MBA students addressing their needs and concerns about finance careers. The students had a chance to meet with other students and industry professionals such as John Tuttle, Vice Chairman at NYSE & President at NYSE Institute, Adam Raiken, CFO at MetLife Stadium, and Carla Nunes, Managing Director and Kroll Institute Fellow at Kroll among several other names.
